
MDC-T leader Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai this afternoon wound up his campaign trail after addressing an estimated 50 000 people at a rally held in Harare at an open space near the Harare Exhibition Park in the outskirts of the capital city.

After the rally, thousands of MDC-T supporters – dressed in the party’s regalia -marched into the city centre via Robert Mugabe way singing and sloganeering, causing a traffic jam.
The marchers ‘literally’ closed the road to traffic as the procession stretched from Julius Nyerere Way to Rotten Row Street.
Business came to a halt in the shops close to Robert Mugabe Way for more than 30 minutes as bystanders and shop attendants watched from the pavements.
