PREMIERSHIP side Triangle head coach Gishon Ntini says he is worried that his leading striker Limited Chikafa has been ruled out for three weeks

PREMIERSHIP side Triangle head coach Gishon Ntini says he is worried that his leading striker Limited Chikafa has been ruled out for three weeks with an ankle injury.

REPORT BY KENNETH NYANGANI

The Lowveld-based side will visit Buffaloes on Sunday at Sakubva without their top goalscorer this season who has five goals to his credit.

Chikafa scored one of the fastest goal of the season on 34 seconds when they defeated How Mine 2-1 on Sunday at Gibbo Stadium.

Five minutes after opening the floodgates he collided with How Mine goalkeeper Pedzisai Gumiremhete and was ferried to the hospital after the incident.

Triangle have collected 13 points out of possible 15 in their last five games and currently lie on eighth position with 22 points from 17 matches. Their opponents on Sunday Buffaloes are blowing hot and cold in each passing week.

They come into the match low on confidence after a morale sapping 1-0 defeat against league champions last Sunday.

Ntini said: “We defeated them (Buffaloes) 2-0 in the first half of the season, but l believe this match will be different all together.

“The team that is going to employ good tactics will win the match, but, however, I am confident that we are going to win the match,” he said.

“I am worried that we will be without one of our leading players, Limited Chikafa, who is nursing an injury,” he said.
