Monos is trying to come back into the game to over turn the Bosso lead but with their swift counter attacks,Bosso seems to be atoning for last years’ drubbing where Monos won three zero.

4:16pm. Match resumes as both teams get  offensive in search of a goal.Monoz gets real chance from a deadball just outside the boss. The shot is deflected in the way of striker Ishmael Nawe but his chip goes overbar.

42″ played Njabulo let loose by Milton and left with only the goalkeeper to beat. He chooses to shoot a powerful one, instead of placing it closely. The ball is saved.

40″ played: Praise Tonha of Monoz has been in a exciting midfield duel with Maphosa and he definitely a player for the future.

35″ played: Njabulo Ncube by far the best player in the field. He is definitely passing at a work rate that matches no other. He is dropping into the midfield and combining well with Milton. It would be unfair that he does not score in this match. Monoz, with Chitiyo and Kuda have stood their ground as well with a fast pace match synonymous with their play.

29″ played: Monoz take a corner kick but Bosso defends it with goalkeeper Ariel acrobatically leaping for the ball as all defenders were at bay. Bosso survives as this could have been another Monoz goal.

28″ played: Bosso has woken up here. They are displaying good interplay and attacking skills. Munawa shoots but it is wide and Mthulisi is on control in the middle of the park.

25″ played: Bosso GOAL. A Milton Ncube brilliant cross from the right and Graham headed it to the far post. Executed with expertise.
22″ played Oh my!, The Impressive Mthulisi takes a cracker at the goalkeeper who lurches it out for a corner kick….and another corner kick as Bosso attacks the resolute Monoz defence.

21′ played. It is a see- saw affair here as both teams resort to counter attacks with Bosso in search of an equaliser and Monoz needing to extend their lead.

17″ played Bosso gets a freekick at a good position after Njabulo was hacked down and Mthulisi sets up Munawa and the shot goes out to the terraces.

The scoreline now Monoz 1-0 Bosso

It was a beautiful shot from Ishmael Nawe in the 13th minute after Mapuranga miskicked. It was a volley that went in unmolested and away from Ariel’s hands.

13″ played. Bosso gets another corner kick as questions rise over the strength of the Monos defence… Milton curls it but it is quickly defended and in a swift counter attacjk Monomotapa SCORES.

12″ played Mthulisi let on a thorugh pass with the goal at his mercy but his first touch fails him.

10″ played... and Obey lies down in the 18 area injured. He limps out and the match resumes.

9″ played here. Monoz on the offensive in the first minutes of the game. Munawa’s wing has been a weak link so far with nelson outsprinting the defender. Bosso gets second corner of the game and Milton takes it but it is defended.

3″ played Seems Kaindu has pushed Rio to the right wing. The question is; is this the right position for gaffer. Munawa gives a nice shot but Monos saves.

2″ played Monos starts on the offensive and test Arirel in goals for Bosso.

3:00 pm The match kicks off. Highlanders are in their stripped black and white while Monos are attacking the city end in their red outfit.
