REPORT BY SINDISO DUBE

The album which features 16 artistes, all from Kadoma, with different genres ranging from dancehall, hip-hop, soul and gospel was produced by Gabriel “Seku-B” Gwini of Lagg Beats and Vibes Studio.

“Our aim was to bring musicians in Kadoma together, since we have a lot of talented musicians here but they lack exposure to the outside world. So we really hope these artistes will be recognised from this project,” said Gwini.

Artistes like Ja.Que, Faffy-boy, Mazzla D, Boffclan, Cynthia Manzini, Adex, Clay Mojah feature on the album.

“We are shooting videos of some of the songs. The album is all about team work and expressing the talent that we have in Kadoma to the outside world,” said Lewis “Ja.Que” Chipoko, Lagg Beats and Vibes public relations manager.

Gwini added that they have dropped the album at all radio stations in Zimbabwe and hope that music fans will appreciate their album.

Gwini encouraged upcoming musicians to work extra hard and try to come up with something unique as competition is now stiff.

Gwini is the producer and co-director of Lagg Beats and Vibes, which was established in 2005 and has worked with artistes such as Trevor Dongo, Ngoni Kambarame, Shinso Man, Simple Justice and many more.
