Dynamos, founded in 1963, will celebrate their 50th anniversary in August and the club leadership eager to turn Dynamos into a self-sustaining club, have appointed Achievers Marketing — a company with professionals — to spearhead the programme.

A four-member marketing committee to be chaired by former Dynamos chairman Ignatius “Boss” Pamire, Lloyd Hunda — a Civil Aviation Sales consultant — Spencer Manguwa (Econet product development manager) and New Car Sales manager Enock Jokomo was unveiled.

Speaking at a Press conference attended by members of the board and executive, board of directors secretary Chris Kasiyazi said their vision was to transform Dynamos into a self-sustaining club that will have its own stadium and club house.

He said while Archievers Marketing was tasked to spearhead the 50th anniversary, the four-member marketing committee would work beyond the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

“We have appointed Achievers Marketing to spearhead the 50th anniversary. They are professionals and we have tasked them to come up with a solid programme for the anniversary and report to the board. “The four-member marketing committee will also come up with solid strategic plan for this anniversary and report to the board. The board will then approve the programmes,” Kasiyazi said.

He added that they wanted the Dynamos executive led by Keni Mubaiwa to concentrate on the performance of the team.
