THREE Premiership coaches have been spotted at How Mine and one of them is tipped to take charge of the gold miners in their maiden top-flight football league campaign this year.

An impeccable source yesterday told NewsDay Sport that former Njube Sundowns, Chicken Inn and Quelaton coach Philani “Beefy” Ncube was interviewed by the team on Tuesday and has been shortlisted for the job.
FC Platinum technical team member Philani Mabhena and nomadic former Blue Rangers head coach Partson Ndabambi were also interviewed for the same job.
“Beefy (Philani Ncube), Philani Mabhena and (Partson) Ndabambi were at How Mine yesterday (Tuesday) for interviews. One of them will definitely coach the team,” the source said.
Retained How Mine chairman Mlondolozi Nkomo on Tuesday told this newspaper that the club would be making serious announcements at the end of the week.
The club held its annual general meeting last Wednesday where Nkomo was retained as chairman and four new members were elected into the new executive committee.
Although the club could be engaging an experienced coach in their debut season in the Premiership, they are likely going to retain in the technical department, the two men that took them to the elite league – Sheunesu Chaka and Jeremiah Makote.

Former FC Platinum captain and Highlanders right-back Zephania Ngodzo has been linked to the club together with veteran hard-tackling Chicken Inn centre-back Hebert Dick.
