Charles Charamba will be on the bench giving directions to his team which will feature Tryson and Sulumani Chimbetu, Romeo Gasa, Peter Moyo, Leonard Zhakata, Alick Macheso, Guspy Warrior, Jah Prayzah, King Shady, Freeman, First Farai, Nicholas Zakaria and promoters Patson Chimbodza and Josh Hozheri.

The musicians have challenged their opponents to prepare for a tough match.

Musicians have not won against the legends in their previous encounters. Chimbodza said all has been set for the match, which he said is likely to be a thriller.

He said this year’s team of soccer legends would have to be strong as musicians have been doing well in their training sessions.

Moyo, who was crowned man-of-the-match at last year’s edition of the social event, told NewsDay that they would put their maximum effort in the game.

“I am sure this one is going to be a big match because in the past we used to come into the stadium without training and that made it difficult for us to make good combinations. This year we have managed to have training sessions and we are prepared for the match,” said Moyo.

Charamba said the soccer legends should seriously prepare for the match.

“This match will be totally different from the previous ones because we have managed to form a good team.

“We have been training for the better part of the week and the team is coming to the match stronger than before,” said Charamba.
