Moyo is one of the players who are trying their luck at bosso together with the former Motor Action duo of Thembani Masuku and Fortune Ncube.

Moyo yesterday told NewsDay Sport that he is targeting a return to the 2012 league runners up.

“I am seeking to clinch a deal with Highlanders because I want to return and play for my former team. They are a good team and if they sign me and one or two more players, maybe we can achieve something,” he said. Moyo (27) played for the defunct Amazulu FC in 2004 before he went to Cyprus.

He came back to Highlanders in 2007 and played under the tutelage of Methembe Ndlovu.

Moyo later joined Njube Sundowns before he crossed the floor to join Bantu Rovers.

In Cyprus he played for Division One sides Doxa Katokopia and Anagennisi Dherynia before joining Division Two side Chalkanoras Idaliou. He returned to Zimbabwe at the end of 2011. Moyo says he has recovered from an ankle injury that kept him on the sidelines last season.

Highlanders coach Kelvin Kaindu told NewsDay on Monday that he is targeting one player but could not be drawn to divulge the name.
