The event, which is organised by Magamba Cultural Activism Network, will feature comedians from Harare and Bulawayo.

Comedians such as Nqobizita Sibiza who is also known as Q the Boss, Victor “Doc Vikela” Mpofu and Clive Chigubu will take turns to entertain guests at the show.

Magamba network spokesperson Lesley Makawa, better known as Outspoken, said Comrade Fatso would direct the event that would close with a party featuring Dj Maxxy.

“The doors will open at 8pm for a show starting at 9pm. This edition will be hosted by one of Zimbabwe’s top comedians Comrade Fatso. As has become the tradition of the event, the comedy showcase will be followed by a party and DJ Maxxy will be on the turntable until late,” said Outspoken.

“The comedy night has been growing from strength to strength as it showcases new and established comedians while also building a diverse, cosmopolitan crowd.”

He said they aimed to diversify from their traditional stand-up comedy taking on other forms.

“In keeping with its original vision, Bang Bang also aims to feature different forms of comedy including comedy screenings, cheeky music and live skits.”
