NewsDaySport has it on good authority that Patson Jaure, the club’s Players’ Player of the Year and the Most Improved player left the country yesterday for South Africa to seek a Visa to go to Turkey.

Zimbabweans who wish to travel to Turkey can only apply for visas in Pretoria since there is no Turkish embassy in Harare.

Jaure’s manager Kennedy Mapeza, without giving away the names of the 21 year-old defender’s intended destination in Turkey, yesterday confirmed the player is in South Africa.

“He is in South Africa right now to apply for a Turkish visa. He should be back in the country next week then we will take it further from there. That is all I can say at the moment,” said Mapeza, the younger brother to former Warriors coach Norman Mapeza.

If Jaure leaves as expected, it will be a huge blow to coach Kalisto Pasuwa who is looking to build his team for the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Champions League around the gritty defender.

Jaure, a cool but very calculative defender, was named amongst the 11 best performers of the season, to add to the two accolades he won at his club.

What makes Pasuwa’s situation even worse is the impending departure of some of his aces.

Denver Mukamba, Dynamos’ Player of the Year and the Soccer Star of the Year favourite had a trial stint with Bidvest Wits of South Africa last week with reports showing that the team’s technical team was impressed.

Winger Farai Mupasiri, who burst onto the scene this season and was voted Dynamos Rookie of the Year and is in the running for the same award in the Premier league, is also in South Africa holding trials with Washington Arubi’s Pretoria University.

South African Division One side Dynamos have publicly stated that they want striker Rodreck Mutuma and the two parties are reportedly on the verge of reaching a deal.

Captain Tawanda Muparati is also reportedly on Chippa United’s wish list, leaving Pasuwa with a lot to ponder about in the coming few weeks as the team begins preparations for the Caf Champions League.

However, it looks like the Dynamos technical team is already planning for life without some of last season’s stars after the club last week captured the signature of Motor Action central defender Morris Kadzola.

Kadzoka is touted as a direct replacement for the impending departure of Jaure.

The league and Mbada Diamonds Cup winners are also reportedly planning to raid Monomotapa where they want Russel Madamombe, Kudakwashe Musharu, Artwell Mukandi and Tawanda Nyamandwe.

Negotiations are also understood to be going on between Dynamos and their former star Benjamin Marere whose contract with FC Platinum ends at the end of the season.

Donald Ngoma, another FC Platinum player is also reportedly on Dynamos’ radar although it will be very unlikely that the Zvishavane-based side would want to make business with their arch rivals.

Meanwhile, Dynamos Supporters will hold their end of year party for the players and the technical team in Harare this evening.

Dynamos Supporters’ chairman Felix Dzukwa said yesterday, “This is our way to say thank you to our players, the technical team, the executive and the board of directors for what they did in the past season.

“The 2012 victory celebration and end of year Christmas party will be a tribute to our heroes for a job well done. This is not a party for all the supporters and only those invited would be admitted at the venue which is Mubaiwa hotel in Chitungwiza,” said Dzukwa.
