THE government has released the school and legal calendar for next year’s terms in a Government Gazette published on December 14 2012.

Next year’s first school term opens on January 14, closing on April 5 while the second term opens on May 6 and closes on August 2.
The third term opens on September 2 and closes on November 29.
The school calendar coincides with the judiciary calendar for all the country’s High and Supreme courts except the Magistrates’ courts.
The government also gazetted the High Court circuit courts calendar for Gweru, Mutare, Hwange and Masvingo.
The dates are as follows: Mutare, September 16-27; Hwange, October 14-25; and Masvingo, November 11-22 2013.
