BULAWAYO High Court judge Justice Lawrence Kamocha is set to officially open the Hwange High Court circuit today.

BULAWAYO High Court judge Justice Lawrence Kamocha is set to officially open the Hwange High Court circuit today where he is expected to deal with 13 murder cases committed in Matabeleland North Province over the past few years. Report by Richard Muponde

According to the Hwange High Court circuit criminal cause list,  Justice Kamocha is scheduled to try a case of three police officers from Tsholotsho who allegedly fatally assaulted a suspect they had arrested in connection with a theft case.

The policemen are Macbright Ndlovu, Lovemore Maromo and Bornfirst Hove. Justice Kamocha is also scheduled to deal with the case of a Mbembesi man, Nkosiyabo Ndzombane, who was last year commuted to Mlondolozi Psychiatric Hospital after he beheaded his brother in cold blood following an argument over groundnuts.
