The club will reward their players during an awards ceremony set for tomorrow.
Dynamos secretary-general Raymond Kazembe said by completing a back-to-back league and cup double, Kalisto Pasuwa’s men went beyond the call of duty and had to be rewarded for their efforts.
“We really appreciate what the players have done for the club and they have to get reward for this achievement. We have an open policy where we sit down with players and technical staff and negotiate payment.
“We did that last year and we didn’t have any problems. We will consider in our negotiations that players are going for an off season break and they will not be getting income, so I think they will be happy with what they will get,” said Kazembe.
Dynamos were crowned league champions after beating Highlanders to the coveted trophy on the final day of an intriguing season.
The two teams ended the campaign tied on 69 points only for Dynamos to win the title on goal difference. For winning the league title, Dynamos are set to pocket $70 000 from Delta Beverages who sponsor the league through their Castle Lager brand.
