The much-anticipated Lion Lager Summer Festival will come to life tomorrow with yet another top act featuring the Nigerian R&B duo P Square composed of brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, rocking the stage alongside a star-studded galaxy of celebrated Zimbabwean artists that include Winky D, Enoch “Nox” Guni, Diana Samkange, Baba Shupi, Alexio Kawara, DJ Raxy, Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana and Mic Inity.
This festival will arguably be one of the major highlights before 2012 comes down. Strict measures have been put in place by organisers of the concert, Delta Beverages, and no bottles will be allowed in the venue. Persons under the age of 18 years will not be allowed at the festival.
Circus Night Club
Tonight the Circus Night Club will present the aftershock all-black party featuring hosts DJ Boi Kartel, DJ Swagg Bakkers’ for the biggest party after the P Square Concert.
Takashinga Cricket Club
Tonight Takashinga Cricket Club will present “Tha Weekend Reloaded” party hosted by DJ Shaka Freesion, DJ Flava Woogie and guest DJ CR Boss and DJ Pulo. The party will continue tomorrow starting from 2pm till late and on Sunday from 1pm till late.

Mushandirapamwe Hotel
Douglas Chimbetu will on Sunday wrap up his shows with a performance at Mushandirapamwe Hotel. Tomorrow he makes an appearance at Tipaz Night Club in Shamva, but tonight he will perform at Mushandirapamwe Hotel in Machipisa, Highfield.

Located at the Southerton shopping centre the club will tonight host a commemoration gig for the late legendary mbira maestro Taku Mafika. Musicians he worked with during his days will also be part of this event and one of the students Mafika personally mentored, Gary Tight son to Willom Tight, will also be part of the line-up set to stage the commemoration show.
Las Vegas Mhishi Mufakose
Located in Mufakose, tomorrow this bar will host BV Labien and the gig starts at 7pm till late.
Musakanene Open Air Bar
Tonight Musakanene Open Air bar hosts the exclusive Friday show featuring some old school sounds with DJ Jaguar on the decks. Tomorrow the venue will host the new kids on the block, Teargas Dance Ensemble, featuring Jojo. On Sunday the dance troupe will continue with Kasa Moto dance group featuring Hona Mwana Wako dance outfit. The party will continue with old school jams courtesy of DJ Jaguar.
Basement Night Club
Tonight the Reggae Rockers’ Friday session will be rocking with yet another sound collaboration featuring senior and legendary soundman Ras Jabu Trevor Hall alongside DJ Garvey of Redemption Sound on the decks. The party will continue tomorrow from 2pm till late with the Redemption Juniors on the decks.
Holly’s Hotel
Progress Chipfumo will make a date with his fans during his weekly show at Holly’s Hotel on Sunday.
City Sports Bar
Tryson will celebrate his birthday in style and stage a show at City Sports Bar tonight. Tomorrow this venue will host Banyana Bafana.
BULAWAYO
Amphitheatre Bulawayo
Tonight Alick Macheso will make a date with his fans in Bulawayo and tomorrow he will perform at Midlands Hotel in Gweru.
Mbizo Stadium
Alick Macheso will team up with Progress Chipfumo together with Peter Moyo, for the late Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo commemoration gala at Mbizo Stadium tonight.
