Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has arrived in Los Angeles to finish training for his upcoming clash with Juan Manuel Marquez at Wild Card Gym.

LOS ANGELS — Eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has arrived in Los Angeles (LA), California, where he will finish his training camp for his upcoming clash against Juan Manuel Marquez at the famed Wild Card Gym.

Report by Reuters

Pacquiao arrived on Saturday aboard Philippine Airlines flight 102, according to a report from ESPN.

The Filipino fight king was supposed to arrive in Los Angeles last October 14, but postponed his trip because of personal issues.

He has been training in General Santos City, however, under the supervision of longtime friend Buboy Fernandez.

“We’ll start at Wild Card today,” said Pacquiao’s adviser, Michael Koncz.

“But we’ve already been training for three weeks in the Philippines. So we’ve moved our camp for now.

“We’ve already been sparring for two weeks in the Philippines, and Manny and I both spoke to (trainer) Freddie (Roach) early last week, and Manny asked Freddie to have sparring ready here,” he added.

Pacquiao and Marquez will fight on December 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, in what will be the fourth meeting between the two rivals.
