This is the first-ever track she recorded with a live band and comes from her forthcoming album Heartbreak Kidd.

The offering is a soulful track inspired by her personal experiences in love affairs.

“I am heartbroken and this is a very personal track — very emotional — a song that speaks to the broken-hearted. Suffice to say it is the fact that this is my first-ever live recording that has turned over a new leaf in my musical carrier,” said Munyavi.

She said the song narrated a story about the heartbreak phase that anyone can go through in any relationship.

The song has been rocking the airwaves on several local radio stations.

For years now Cindy has been doing backtracks, but believes playing live with a band is one of the transformations that adds flare to her music.

“Live music just brings out the feel as it is and people take you seriously as a musician because many people appreciate live music.

“I am ready to show my real level of talent and this move, I believe, will take me places and bring out the artistry in me. It was quiet an amazing experience working on this track and for the first time when my father listened to it he just believed in me,” said Munyavi.

Heartbreak Kidd is set to be released before year end.

She has already started performing live with her band at several corporate functions and is planning to stage more live gigs.

“My band is already intact and I am only waiting to unveil it to the people. My fans should expect a lot of soul and mature music,” added Cindy.
