BARCELONA — Alex Song has taunted Arsenal after completing his £15 million switch to Barcelona by declaring: “I’ve come here to win everything.”

Just days after Robin van Persie (RVP) quit for Manchester United in search of pieces of silverware, the Cameroon midfielder (24) became the latest Arsenal ace to leave.

Song said: “I’m so happy to be here because everyone knows Barcelona are the best team in the world. I’m feeling like a young boy.

“To be part of this team is something I wanted to achieve when I was young.

“I always tried to think ‘I will play for Barcelona’ and now I have the opportunity to be here and play with the best players in the world — Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas.”

RVP left the Emirates after refusing to sign a new deal and publicly condemned boss Arsene Wenger’s long-term strategy and signings. Last season, Wenger continually lavished praise on the midfield hardman.
