Former Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari could make a sensational return to South African football, albeit with National First Division side Jomo Cosmos.

According to reports from South Africa, Mwaruwari trained at Ezenkosi’s grounds in Johannesburg on Monday morning.

Club owner, the legendary Jomo Sono, confirmed on the club’s official website that negotiations were already underway with the former Zimbabwe captain for a deal before the start of the season. Harlington Shereni and Joseph Ngwenya also started training with the team hoping to sign contracts.
