Walking along city and town streets and suburbs, walls, polls and trees are covered with posters of church conferences, conventions and crusades.

At street corners and intersections flyers are being dished out. Internet sites and television stations are loaded with advertisements.

Chain emails and suggestions on Facebook and other social network sites are being sent out. At this time as we approach the holidays coming up in August, all sorts of events are lined up.

Church gatherings of longer periods than the usual Sunday or Saturday service from various churches and denominations, especially those of charismatic persuasion, are coming up.

Venues range from classrooms to stadia. My request to church leaders is, please consider the rural areas, growth points and resettlement areas.

You will save people that have gone down there for functions to appease spirit mediums. Let us look at what happens when God gathers His people. Secular musical shows have also been lined up.

As the holidays approach, where are you heading to church conference or the gig? God lives in eternity and does certain things in the realm of man that are controlled by time at specific instances.

At these kairos moments God does great things. Revival and rejuvenation are inevitable. Miracles just fall down. When four thousand men plus women and children were gathered to listen to Jesus, He ended up performing a miracle of multiplying bread and fish to feed them. So men, I urge you to go out in your numbers.

Church is not for the wife and children only. Mathew 15:32 reads, Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

When you press on God with one accord, He is bound to intervene. In the upper room the disciples experienced a mighty downpour of the Holy Spirit as recorded in Acts 2:1-3: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Attend a conference of your choice as long as it is a Bible believing and practising church. If you havent been to church before, let this be your first time. If you have backslidden, go and be revived.

Even if you are going for the wrong motives such as to steal, getting another wifes man or whatever just go a Damascus experience is waiting for you. Even if it means carrying your krango, star of marijuana or condom with you, just be where Jesus is, you will give us a testimony.

There are many people that have been in intercessory prayer for you, heed the call of God. Apostle Chisunga of Glorious Faith Ministries International, who is hosting a conference at Morgan High School, Arcadia, from August 10-12 says that this is the time for mankind to manifest the glory of God.

As I close, let me zoom on one conference that caught my eye. Jabula New Life Ministries International, whose senior pastors are Bishop Tudor and Pastor Chichi Bismark, are holding a conference from August 8 to August 12 2012 at the International Conference Centre (HICC) which will run under the theme The Next Ten Years.

It is the theme and cast of speakers that I am sure will draw your attention. It is a package that contains men and women of God that are advisors to presidents, own universities, flow in a rare type of revelation, wisdom and apostolic authority.

To simplify it, for enough storage, you will have to borrow the head of someone who is not attending. For the first time in Zimbabwe, renowned author, motivator and pastor, Dr Mike Murdock of the Wisdom Centre in the US will be there.

He will host a luncheon at which business, social and Christian leaders will have time to speak with him on the subject Wisdom and Prosperity. The conference will also have Bishop John Francis from London, England, as well as Dr Mensa Otabil of Central University College, Accra, Ghana.A spokesperson said: In praise and worship we will have Israel Houghton in the country and he will serve as our musical guest.

It is going to be a spectacular time in the Lord at the HICC, and we encourage Zimbabwe to come and experience a window to the next ten years the spokesperson concluded. Dont be left out, you are going somewhere.

All Scripture quotations are from the King James Version of the Bible.
