Inline Academy coach Shadreck Mlauzi is confident his side will continue with the good start when they lock horns with Conduit Soccer Academy from Guruve in a Zimbabwe Women’s Football Super League encounter at BG Sports Club today.

Inline are second on the log table with six points from two games while Conduit are in position seven with three points from two games.

Mlauzi yesterday said he was impressed by the team’s performance in the opening two games.

“We have had a relatively good start this year because last year we won our first game, but drew the next two games. I am happy because this year we have managed to garner maximum points in the first two matches,” he said.

“We are hoping to continue with the good start as we have already scored 13 goals. We hope to continue playing our attacking football.”

Conduit coach Actmore Chatyoka said he was aware of the danger Inline Academy pose.

“Inline are a very big side and I am always inspired by their type of play.

“Inline play attacking football, but we also hope that we can win the match,” he said.

Inline’s pair of Sibonginkosi Nleya and Sithabile Silonda will be out in search of goals while Conduit strikers Rumbidzai Gora and Priviledge Mutasa are the mainstay of the Guruve side.

Rodah Jongondi will also want to prove why she was signed by Inline Academy from neighbours New Orleans.

Inline also boast of the Mighty Warriors trio of Rudo Neshamba, Nobuhle Majika and Samukelisiwe Zulu while relying on goalkeeper Vanessa Lunga.

Mlauzi has options in Rejoice Kampfumvuti who can also be thrown upfront, and Fiona Chingwe and Fundile Moyo in the midfield department.

Conduit have Michelle Chatyoka, the coach’s daughter, Brenda Mupfurutsa, Remember Senzeri and Samantha Peter at the back.

In other games, New Orleans square up against Black Rhinos at Raylton Sports Club while Cyclone host Flame Lily at Hellenic Sports Club in Harare.

Log leaders Mufakose Queens travel to Gweru’s Mkoba Stadium for a date with Chipembere while Faith Drive host Masvingo Queens at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare.
