Warriors assistant coaches Peter Ndlovu, David Mandigora, and Dynamos gaffer Calisto Pasuwa have been offered another opportunity to upgrade their coaching skills by taking part in the Caf B Licence coaching course set for Harare in August.

Former Highlanders, Black Mambas and Warriors coach Madinda Ndlovu is also one of the top coaches who have been lined up to take part in the upgrading course.

The Ndlovu brothers, who are both holders of Caf C Licence, failed to take part in the B Licence upgrading course in April this year because of commitments.

Peter was involved in the VW Under-13 squad while his elder brother Madinda could not fly into the country as he was committed to his Botswana club Mochudi Centre Chiefs who were on the verge of winning the league title. He eventually lifted the Botswana beMobile championship title repeating the same feat achieved by his predecessor Rahman Gumbo the previous year.

Pasuwa could also not attend the course as he was committed to Dynamos who were scheduled to play Tunisia’s Espérance in the African Champions League.

Zimbabwe Soccer Coaches Administrator Mike Ngore said the course — targeted at those who hold the Caf C Licence — was scheduled to kick off from August 27 to September 2.

“We have lined up these coaches for another Caf B Licence course to take place in Harare in August. Remember these coaches were supposed to take part in the course held in April, but could not participate because of various commitments. So we have lined them up for the coming course,” said Ngore.

He added that the Caf course would be preceded by a Level 3 coaching course in which players like Gunners mentor Thanks Tengwe and Ndega Matsika of Black Rhinos have been invited to attend. The Caf B Licence course is attended only by coaches who hold a Caf C Licence.
