Over 100 golfers county-wide are expected to converge at Hillside Golf Club in Mutare at the Manicaland amateur golf tournament, starting today.
It will be the second major tournament to be hosted by the club in the eastern border city in a month after the successful Marange Resources Pro-AM golf tournament which was eventually won by Borrowdale Brook-based pro Greig Bentley.
Manicaland Golf Union president Tavenganiswa Mabikacheche said the tournament was expected to attract over 100 golfers.
Hillside golf captain Martin Nyaundi said the greens were in pristine condition.
