Local exhibitors have hailed the just-ended 53rd edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), with the majority of them saying they clinched lucrative business deals during the fair, orginisers said yesterday.
In a statement, ZITF general manager Daniel Chigaru said they conducted a survey soon after the fair in April and established that 80% local exhibitors had directly benefited from the trade exhibition.
He said ZITF increased its foreign participants by 17% while its overall exhibitor numbers dropped by 10% compared to last year. The fair closed at 94% capacity, higher than the last three consecutive years.
