Guruve South MP Edward Chindori-Chininga was yesterday involved in a car accident which claimed one life.
Police traffic spokesperson Inspector Tigere Chigome said the accident occurred along the Mazowe–Centenary Road.
“There was a head-on collision at the 5km peg along Mazowe–Centenary Road. It involved a Mercedes Benz and a Nissan pickup truck which had occupants. One occupant from the Nissan truck died on admission at Concession Hospital,” said Chigome.
Chindori-Chininga and others were said to be in a stable condition as of yesterday.
Meanwhile Zanu PF Chivi North MP Tranos Huruva was involved in a road traffic accident on Monday.
The accident took place between Norton and Chegutu. As of yesterday, the MP was still admitted at a private clinic in Harare.
