Jabula Inn Entertainment has set up what they promise to be a massive gig featuring popular musicians Sandra Ndebele, Jeys Marabini and South African songstress Patricia Majalisa which will be held in Esigodini on Saturday evening.

Dubbed the “Esigodini Gig of the Year”, show promoter, Joram Moyo said it would usher revellers into the festive season.

He said Jabula Inn had deliberately organised the gig with veteran SA artiste Majalisa and local musicians to “afford more exposure to our own musicians”.

“We expect people in Matabeleland and the country in general to support Marabini and Ndebele because there is no way they could be popular in other countries if they are not made popular here,” he said.

Ndebele told NewsDay she was looking forward to the gig.

“I know people thought I would not be on stage again. That is not true. It has been a long time since my fans saw me on stage, but they will see me at Esigodini on Saturday,” she said.

Moyo said the show would go on until the early hours of Sunday morning.
