7 Arts Theatre
Much-publicised film The Gentleman, shot in Zimbabwe and South Africa, is set to premiere at the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare on Saturday evening.
Urban groover, Stunner is billed to perform before the premiere. The whole cast, which features Munya Chidzonga, Presley Chweneyagae and Philip Chiyangwa, will be present at the event.

Chipaz Promotions will Friday night host “Zim’s Finest” gig featuring musicians, Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi, Alick “Cheso” Macheso, Tongai “Dhewa” Moyo, Sulumani “Sulu” Chimbetu and Winky D aka Muninja at the Andy Millar Hall.
Tony’s Nite Spot (Portugal Restaurant)
Located at corner Samora Machel Avenue and Eighth Street, Pensao is the place for party-loving clubbers. Every Friday all-female dance group the Blue Virgins show off their exotic dance routines.

Winky D and Stunner will perform at the “Coca-Cola Pimped Up Ride” promotion launch on Saturday. The show will educate people on the promotion that will give away eight cars at a draw to be held next year. The event kicks off in the morning and entrance is free.

Mzansi VIP Lounge
Located at the Kamfinsa shopping centre in Greendale, the newly opened lounge will tonight host a “Friday Friction” event with DJs Dee Vine, Ronnie Cool, Black Snizzle and Omar. They will be playing Old Skool classics and new hits. The event will be hosted by Dynamic Modelling Agency. On Saturday there will be a “Disturbia Party” with DJs TK Beatz, Smilez, Chill and the platinum DJs, Nice Tee and Jammie Cee.
Richwood Sports Club
Located at Meyrick Park shopping centre in Mabelreign, the sports club will host a “Hoza Friday” party Friday night. Power FM’s DJ Skwila, Keith Smooth and Frankie B will be on the decks. There will also be a braai party in the afternoon. On Saturday there will be a weekend special with Dr Zobha and DJ Skwila.
Kwa Mu-Joe
Located in Hatcliffe, the bar will on Saturday evening host Nicholas “Madzibaba” Zakaria. He will be supported by Ngosimbi Crew.
Borrowdale Racecourse
There will be a “Rock-Down-Harare Festival” featuring South African rock music band Holy and the Woods. Afro-fusion stars Mokoomba, among others, will also perform.
Lime Bar
Located at the Rolf Valley, the Lime Bar will on Friday night host the Ciroc Party. DJs T-Bass and P-Styles of Bass and Styles fame will be on the decks.
Wadzanai Cocktail Bar ( Shamva)
A sungura festival will be held on Saturday afternoon featuring Progress Chipfumo, Hosiah Chipanga, Allan Chimbetu, Kapfupi, Njerema Boys, Daiton Somanje, Olinda Marowa, Gift Amuli plus Morgan and Tendai Dembo.
BULAWAYO
Bulawayo Amphitheatre
This evening, popular South African musician Dan Tshanda performs with his group Matshikoz starting 9pm. On Saturday evening, he performs in Hwange before rounding up his tour at Vulindlela Beer Garden on Sunday.
Horizon
Veteran disc jockey Otis “The Flow” Fraser launches his ’90s R&B, hip-hop and dancehall CD mix tape Friday night starting 7pm. Also featuring will be another veteran mixmaster, Kimble “Double K” Rogers, as well as Smoove.
Ayobar
On Saturday evening, join Andy Brown and Chiwoniso Maraire will “reunite” for a show that starts at 9pm. Bambi Lounge (Rangemore) Saturday evening, South Africa-based group, Ndolwane Super Sounds perform at the venue starting at 6pm. Dance group Exotic Rhumba Dancers will also feature.
Kudu Bar
The venue hosts a “Spring Beach Party” on Saturday starting at 4pm. 20 disc jockeys playing a selection of techno, trance, ragga, kwaito, deep and commercial house will take turns on turntables. There will be two dance floors, the dress code is beachwear and beach volleyball will be played.
