The two MDC members who were arrested early this month on allegations of murdering police inspector Petros Mutedza in Glen View in May this year, have been granted $300 bail each at the High Court.

MDC-T yesterday confirmed the development, adding Kerina Dewa, Harare provincial secretary for national healing, and Memory Ncube were granted bail by Justice Joseph Musakwa.

The two are part of 26 MDC-T members who were arrested for allegedly killing Mutedza who was reportedly part of a police team trying to stop an unsanctioned meeting.

Seven other activists are still in remand prison while the other 17 were granted bail in July.
