Zanu PF boots out Mutinhiri

The Zanu PF Politiburo last night expelled Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Tracy Mutinhiri from the party, upholding an earlier decision by the party’s Mashonaland East Province.

Mutinhiri was under fire for allegedly “supping with the devil”, as the party felt she had become too sympathetic to political rival, MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

Zanu PF national spokesperson Rugare Gumbo made the announcement. Mutinhiri is now set to lose both her ministerial and parliamentary posts.
