Former Zimbabwe international Esrom Nyandoro has declared his commitment to South African Premiership football side Mamelodi Sundowns, despite seemingly falling out of favour with coach Johan Neeskens.

Nyandoro is yet to play an official game for The Brazilians this season, and has also been stripped of his captain’s armband.

But speaking to KickOff.com, Nyandoro insisted he was still happy at Chloorkop.

“I am still a Sundowns player and unfortunately only 11 players can take to the field. I am not yet frustrated by the situation and will continue to support the team, even if I am not playing.”

Neeskens has used Surprise Moriri as his new anchorman, and played Nigerian Solomon Okpako in his absence during the league game against Moroka Swallows last Wednesday.

Moriri is set to return to the starting line-up for the MTN8 semi-final, second leg against Orlando Pirates today after serving his suspension.
