Local standup comedian, Ntandoyenkosi Moyo will stage a show dubbed All That Nonsense at Bulawayo Theatre tomorrow.

Moyo told NewsDay that the one hour show focuses on a number of issues that include politics, sports, relationships as well as current global trends. This would be the first time for comedy lovers to watch the production.

Moyo said those who would attend the show would have “a really great time laughing”.

He is not new in comedy circles having started off in 2009. He has featured at the Zimbabwe Comedy Festival in Harare for two consecutive years.

He has also made audiences laugh at the annual Intwasa Arts Festival. The comedian said he would capture his performances on video and avail the production to fans that would not be able to watch the live performance.

“We will record a DVD on the night of the performance so that people that want to revisit the comedy and some that might miss the live performance will have access to our production and see it in the comfort of their homes,” he said.

Besides comedy, there will also be some music provided by highflying disc jockey Djembe Monks.

Dancers from Zimbabwe’s Finest Dance competition finalists, Break Equation, a hip-hop dance group are also expected to showcase their dancing skills.

Upcoming musician, Zibusiso “Uzibozi” Ncube who is well known for his comical music lyrics is also billed to perform.

The show has been organised by MRM Arts.
