Ailing Chapungu return to action Saturday with the hope of reviving their faltering campaign.

They travel to Redcliff to meet FC Glow Petroleum in a Zifa Central Region Division One Football League match to be played at Rutendo Stadium.

The airmen who were inactive last weekend are having a woeful run, having shared spoils in their last five matches. Interestingly they remain unbeaten and have a total of nine draws in 15 matches.

Even after Innocent Chogugudza was shown the exit door on June 21, new coach Joseph Michaels has had an unfamiliar start by recording draws in the two games he has been in charge so far.

But Saturday all hopes are to launch a revival campaign aimed at catching up with leaders Hardbody who are 10 points loose from fourth-placed airmen hard-pressed to regain promotion after three seasons in first division wilderness.

Chapungu arrives in Redcliff armed with potent arsenal in strikers Philip Marufu and Brighton Mugoni as well as veterans Dumisani Mufudze, Matthew Mahala and Pascar Shonhai, and would want to avoid further humiliation of losing maximum points against 12-placed FC Glow Petroleum.

A win will have the airmen levelling games with Hardbody who have 37 points as well as second-placed Tongogara, whom they would now trail by five points as the latter two will be inactive.

Gweru Pirates host the now outside campaigners, McInn who like Chapungu have had their title aspirations frustrated by a short nap after a good start to the season had them mentioned as one of serious contenders.

Pirates are seeking to move out of the relegation zone while McInn are out to relaunch their title push.

Ziscosteel and Lancashire Steel square up in a battle of the steelmakers at Torwood Stadium where the steely side will emerge while Silo United and Blanket Mine will be tussling each other at Mbizo Stadium.

On Sunday, ZimAlloys who have won their last three outings seek to build up from this when they visit Chrome Stars at Chrome Stadium.
