GPA negotiators last night signed the election roadmap timelines which they agreed on Monday.

They met to finalise the timelines in line with recommendations made by Sadc leaders in Sandton, South Africa on June 12.

“We have signed and there is no difference from what we agreed upon on Monday,” MDC-N negotiator Moses Mzila-Ndlovu told NewsDay. The negotiators, Patrick Chinamasa and Nicholas Goche (Zanu PF), Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga and Mzila- Ndlovu (MDC-N) and Tendai Biti as well as Elton Mangoma (MDC-T), had already agreed on most aspects of the election roadmap, aimed at having an undisputable election in the country.

If the timelines are to be followed, Zimbabwe is likely to go for polls next year or in 2013, as fulfilling agreed positions is virtually not possible this year.
