Celebration Centre

American-based musician, Sean Kingston will spice up the Easter holidays in Harare with his first performance at the Celebration Centre in Borrowdale on Friday.

The second concert, dubbed “Sean Kingston Live In Concert”, will be held at the Glamis Arena on Saturday evening.

Local artists — Stunner, Cindy Munyavi, Winky D, Sani Makhalima, Ill Ceey, BKay and Kaz, T and T, High Definition dance group, Zena and Snipper are expected to perform with the musician. There will also be an after-party after the main show on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Hall at the Exhibition Park.

Galactica

Tongai Moyo returns to action this weekend after resting for a week on medical grounds. On Friday night Moyo is expected to perform at Galactica in Braeside where he will be alongside Morgan and Tendai Dembo.

Portugal Restaurant (Pensao)

For a “Party-crazy Friday”, check out the Pensao along Samora Machel Avenue (corner Eighth Street). DJs Slow & Flak will be spinning the discs, playing a versatile mix in the garden all night long. Be a part of it!

City Sports Bar

Exotic dancing girls from Bulawayo will perform at the City Sports Bar over the Easter holiday. The group started performing at the bar on Tuesday and its first shows have been exciting.

Fusion Café Bar

Friday night, Fusion Café Bar, which is located at the Borrowdale Racecourse, will host an “All-Black” party with DJs T-Bass and P Styles backed by NR Ent.

The same crew will present “High Society Saturdays ” at the Café Noir, which is located at Helensvale shopping centre. They will end their weekend with a session on Sunday at the Lime Bar.

Stars Studio

Stars Studio, which opened its doors to the public last weekend will host Friday Nights with DJs Dean and Robbie Tee who will play old skool music. DJs Dee Nosh and L Roy will take over on Saturday evening. The dress code is strictly smart casual.

Willo Glen Bar

Popularly known as “kwaMuJoe”, the Willo Glen Bar, which is in Hatcliffe will on Saturday evening present Kapfupi and Orchestra Ndoozvo.

9 to 9 Restaurant

The restaurant, located in Highlands, will host a birthday party for DJ Mos Deezy on Saturday evening. Legendary Sounds, DJs Dee Nice, Dee Vine, P Stylez, T Bass and Weekay will be mixing their tunes on the decks.

Club Amnesia

Friday night there will be a “Grown and Sexy” party featuring DJs Dee Nosh and L Roy (D&L) and Mos Deezy. Saturday, the same venue will present a “Saturday Amnesia Nights” with DJ Dee Vine, Storm, MC Cheetah, Juice, Black Snizzle and Vee Bee.

Liquid Lounge

Saturday, DJs Robiee Tee and Dee Fresh will host a “Saturday Night of Pleasure” event.

Water World

Friday afternoon, starting at 12pm, there is the Black Friday music show at the venue located in Montrose suburb. The show will feature DJ Smilly. In the evening Base Giant Sound Crew composed of DJs Flava Flava and Moze will spice up the event. Ragga artist Centre Party will also launch his album Mhandu Yepamusoro.

BULAWAYO

Blue Lagoon (Renkini)

Chase Skuza and Tukuye Sounds will take to the stage Friday afternoon at 2pm at the Blue Lagoon. Internationally acclaimed a cappella music outfit Black Umfolosi will also perform.

Highlanders Club House

There will be a fundraising show for the Bulawayo soccer giants at their club house on Sunday. The show starts at 6pm and will feature various artists from Bulawayo. It will be a “pre-party” for their encounter with Dynamos on Monday.

Jabula Inn (Esigodini)

Friday night, there is Thuthuka dance group on stage starting at 8pm. Saturday another dance group, Kalawa, will be performing. On Sunday, all-female dance outfit Girls La Musica, take to the stage.

Insomnia Pub & Grill (Hwange)

Bulawayo-based Emity Smooth will be entertaining revellers this evening starting at 9pm. He will play a mixed bag of music.

Sinkamaswe Cocktail Bar (Kezi (Matabeleland South)

On Saturday, catch musician Obadiah “Dr Kanindo” Matulana backed by Jet Sounds as they launch their latest album, Madliwa — Pains of Poverty at Sinkamaswe Cocktail Bar in Kezi.
