OLD Mutual Zimbabwe yesterday opened a one-stop financial services shop in Harare, in a move it said reaffirmed its commitment to the country.

Speaking at the commissioning of the shop, Old Mutual group chief executive officer Jonas Mushosho said the branch would demonstrate to the market the diversity and relevance of the range of products that included savings, banking, investment, insurance and property.

“The opening of this Old Mutual Harare central business district branch reaffirms our commitment to Zimbabwe in general and the financial services sector to which we belong, in particular. The message we are sending out to our clients and stakeholders is that we are here to stay and we will continuously seek to bring convenience and value to our customers and stakeholders,” Mushosho said.

“As the country’s largest intergrated financial services group, we are proud to pioneer a concept that is bound  to move the market and consolidate Old Mutual’s position as the undisputed market leader.”
He said the team at the branch had been trained to raise the bar in client relationship management.

  1. This article is so summarised that at the end of the day the reporter has said nothing tangible. The article does not even tell us services the new branch will be offering. This is pathetic journalism.

  2. Old Mutual has a hundred and sixty eight years in the business of investing and owns almost seventy five percent of Zimbabwe Stock Exchange listed companies. Well though the report is so abrupt, Old Mutual should simplify the art and science of share investment that the ZSE has not been simplifying!

  3. Kana ini ndazvishayawo pazvo. The article is so empty and void of detail that one is left wondering how did this this article find its way to the readers in that pathetic start. What kind of reporting is that? News Editor, where are you? Nxaa MHANI
