ONLY 200 supporters braved the stands yesterday as ZPC Kariba edged a toothless TelOne 1-0 in a lifeless Castle Lager PSL match that barely set the stadium alight.
Tinashe Ruzive scored the solitary goal of the match, on the stroke of time, after the TelOne defense was caught off guard in an attack that looked hapless.
The Wifi Boys could not rise from the slump even after a series of chances that were created by Silas Songani from the wings.
While ZPC Kariba walked away with maximum points, one fact remains that TelOne have only managed one win at home, at Ascot Stadium, where they beat Highlanders 1-0.
With 11 games remaining before the curtain goes down, coach Saul Chaminuka is worried about his players' mentality. TelOne remain in the relegation zone, on 16th position with 17 points on their tally.
"We had control of this game from the onset,” Chaminuka said.
