Gospel musician Phillip Kambare is releasing videos from his previous songs in a bid to reach out to his fans and grow his brand.

In September Kambare released a single titled Huvepo, which was a precursor to his forthcoming album.

The musician made an entrance on the mainstream music scene with the release of his debut album titled Tauya Nerumbidzo in 2019.

However, Kambare said he has shelved temporarily the release of the album to concentrate on releasing 10 videos from his previous productions.

“I have plans that out of 10 tracks, I am releasing one track per week on my YouTube channel. To date I have released three tracks and I still have seven more to go,” Kambare told Standard Style.

“So far I have released videos for the songs Abundant Life, Halleluya and Hakuna Wakaita SaJesu.”

The musician said as someone who is still to make a name in the gospel music industry, he believes the visuals will help him get recognition.

“Most people are on digital platforms these days and I believe by taking my music online, I am reaching out to many people out there, mostly who did not know about me,” he said.

“Although I still don’t command a huge following on digital media platforms, the few people that have watched the videos are saying I am in the right track and I should not sit back.

“I hope to continue with this as I want to have a DVD album at the end of the day.”

Apart from the DVD project, Kambare is working on a single to be released early next year.

“I am working on new single which I am looking forward to collaborate with one or two local gospel artistes,” he said.

He encouraged fans to go on his social media platforms for updates.
