Rising gospel musician Sharonrose Bishi (pictured) says her music goes beyond entertainment, describing it as a divine calling aimed at healing, inspiring and drawing people closer to God.
The breakout gospel singer is preparing to release her highly anticipated eight-track debut album on June 1, a project she believes will usher listeners into a powerful atmosphere of worship and spiritual encouragement.
“Gospel music is not just entertainment to me, but a calling and ministry. I believe music has the power to heal, inspire and bring people closer to God,” said Bishi.
“My prayer is that whenever people listen to these songs, they find peace, strength, comfort and encouragement.”
She said the forthcoming album reflects her passion for ministry through music and carries messages of faith, hope, worship and perseverance.
Some of the songs featured on the project include Rumbidzo, You Are the Omega, Tiri Tsamba, Let It Overflow and Muri Mutsvene.
“This album is very special to me because every song carries a message meant to encourage people to remain faithful, hopeful and prayerful despite life’s challenges,” she said.
Bishi added that her music is inspired by everyday experiences, worship moments and testimonies from people around her.

“Sometimes people go through difficult situations and feel like giving up. I want my music to remind them that God is always present and that there is hope in every situation,” she said.
The singer expressed optimism that the album launch will mark the beginning of a promising journey in the gospel music industry.
She also revealed her desire to collaborate with established gospel musicians, particularly Michael Mahendere, whom she admires for his contribution to gospel ministry.
