Contemporary musician Giant Tagarisa has urged fellow artists to embrace creativity and consistency in order to remain relevant in the ever-evolving music industry.
Although he is yet to release a full album, Tagarisa has already recorded more than 60 tracks — a testament to his prolific output and dedication to his craft.
He believes that in today’s fast-changing musical landscape, artists must continuously innovate and adapt.
“Music is changing, so musicians should be creative to remain relevant. They should also add visuals to their songs so that fans can better connect and visualise the message,” said Tagarisa.
The artist emphasized the importance of regularly releasing new material to keep audiences engaged and loyal.
“Musicians should keep releasing music to keep their fans active and interested,” he added.
Beyond creativity and consistency, Tagarisa also highlighted the need for unity within the industry.
He encouraged artists to support one another through collaborations and shared platforms.

“We should promote each other in the industry, whether through collaborations or sharing the stage at big events,” he said.
Tagarisa has already put this philosophy into practice, collaborating with several notable artists including Andy Muridzo, Wedande, Pah Chihera and BaTroy, among others.
The musician is also investing heavily in visuals, producing new videos every week. His songs are gaining traction on social media platforms, particularly YouTube, where he continues to grow his fan base.
With a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit, Giant Tagarisa is positioning himself as one of the determined voices in Zimbabwe’s contemporary music scene.
