Zambian premier gospel outfit Extol Acapella has joined Radiance Acapella on their domestic tour to promote Radiance’s sixth and latest offering, Freedom.

Recently, the internationally acclaimed ensembles dazzled Masvingo fans with spellbinding melodies during a concert held at the Charles Austin Theatre, leaving the audience captivated by their rich harmonies and polished stage delivery.

Extol Acapella’s participation formed part of Radiance Acapella’s nationwide tour, which is aimed at widening the group’s reach while showcasing music from their latest project.

The musically gifted Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) ensembles said their performances were targeted at connecting with communities across the country through music that uplifts and inspires.

Speaking during a joint interview, Radiance Acapella pioneers and twin brothers Ronald Kudakwashe and Roland Tinashe Muyedzenga said they were committed to maintaining high professional standards in their engagements.

“We are doing everything we can to maintain this high level of professional performance,” they said.

“Our roots are traced back to the SDA faith, and everything we do is centred on the founding principles imparted in the church. However, the message we carry is universal.

“The message is for everyone. This is the reason we share the music we produce with all people, regardless of denomination,” the duo added.

The concert drew an enthusiastic crowd, with attendees praising the groups’ professionalism and spiritual sincerity. Many described the show as “refreshing,” “well-coordinated,” and “a testament to the dedication of the artists.”

Radiance Acapella has at least six albums under its belt, with past projects including I Believe and A Level High.

Having performed in several African countries, including Botswana, South Africa and Kenya, the group said its growing global footprint continues to inspire them.

“We have listenership all over the globe — in the United Kingdom, Serbia and North America, among other regions. To us, this is a good reception and a motivation to keep going,” the twin brothers said.
