As the constitutionally mandated head of state, your duty is to serve all citizens of Zimbabwe impartially.
Regrettably, your administration is defined by systemic issues that fundamentally undermine the nation's democratic promise.
Your tenure has been characterised by unashamed state capture and institutionalised partisanship.
Essential national assets that include land, mineral rights, and economic opportunities are reportedly always being distributed to the privileged Zanu PF loyalists.
This conduct represents an outrageous betrayal of the citizens' trust, leading to the widespread perception that you serve as the president of a political party, not the president of all Zimbabwe.
Let us be clear: Zanu PF is not Zimbabwe, and Zimbabwe is not Zanu PF.
Zimbabwe is founded on the principle of democratic equality, and the voices of all its people must be heard and respected.

The deterioration of public services is a national disaster:
The masses are suffering. Healthcare facilities are dilapidated and prohibitively expensive, compelling citizens to seek costly cross border medical migration.
Under your administration, foreign companies are reportedly pegging ancestral lands, including gravesites, for destructive mining operations.
These foreign employers egregiously exploit our fellow citizens, underpaying workers and resorting to violence when they demand their rightful wages.
Severe and debilitating shortages of clean water and persistent, prolonged electricity blackouts across provinces render the promise of development empty and unacceptable in the 21st century.
This is compounded by exorbitant service fees (for bills, data, tollgates, and utilities) coupled with appalling and insufficient civil servant salaries, fueling catastrophic inflation and national despair.
Corruption is happening right under your nose.
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission has failed to deliver real results and it is also captured and corrupt.
Nyika yedu yava mamvemve. Ilizwe lethu selifile.
The reported attempt by your party to seek a constitutional extension of your presidential term to 2030 constitutes a direct violation of the supreme law you are sworn to protect, respect and defend.
Such manipulation severely undermines democracy and the rule of law.
Those who masquerade as your loyalists by silencing criticism and attacking the opposition tarnish your name.
They must be stopped immediately.
Genuine leadership requires accountability, dialogue, and constructive criticism, not blind praise and repression.
Is it now your daily duty to distribute luxury cars to celebrities, coaches and your party leadership as a show of philanthropy?
Is this what millions of Zimbabweans voted you for? What about those millions left behind, especially in rural communities who genuinely need help?
What are your ministers, Cabinet strategy for social services?
We demand answers. I propose the urgent introduction of a formal parliamentary question-and-answer session where you, Mr. President respond directly to citizens demands.
You remain unreachable even by email yet accountability requires accessibility.
I find it difficult to send this letter directly to you.
In conclusion, Mr President, Zimbabwe is burning. catastrophic unemployment, and the mass exodus of skilled youth are realities we face daily.
We urge you, with the strongest possible conviction and utmost gravity, to accept a well-deserved retirement.
This necessary transition would allow a new generation of unifying, non-partisan leaders to emerge and:
- Unite all citizens under a common national purpose.
- Restore the dignity of the Republic and its institutions.
- Uphold justice and ensure the equitable application of the law.
- Guarantee the constitutional rights to freedom of speech, association, and movement for every Zimbabwean.
Additionally, we emphatically demand adherence to the nation's supreme law: Harmonised National Elections must be held in 2028, as explicitly stipulated in our sacred Constitution.
Finally, we reiterate a foundational principle:
The security forces belong exclusively to the Republic of Zimbabwe and must not be utilised in service of, or be beholden to, any single political party.
Their loyalty is to the constitution and the nation as a whole.
The time for decisive change is now.
