If one needed evidence to prove how the office of the president has been demeaned since the propelling of the scarfed one on the back of guns and tanks, it was overwhelmingly provided by the bribery scandal which has played out in the public glare.
Stung by revelations by the self-proclaimed sections buster Rutendo, presidential advisor ,Mr Boreholes, took the unprecedented move to publicly bribe him to make the increasingly damaging revelations go away.
The public offer to Rutendo of US$200 000 and a vehicle to refrain from attacking Scarfmore and family, is unquestionably the most shameful act under this dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion.
Never in my lifetime did I imagine that the party, built on the profound wise leadership of Gushungo, would be reduced to such shambles.
That a whole presidential advisor would make such a bribe on microblogging site X, is a clear indication that the party has gone to the dogs since the forced departure of Gushungo in that dark year of 2017.
The subsequent apology by Rutendo to Scarfmore and family, after such a handsome payment, is meaningless to the point of being laughable.
It is probably the most expensive apology in the history of Zanu PF kkkkk.

It is little wonder why some of the party’s apologists, better known as varakashi, felt insulted to be paid US$10 000 by Mr Boreholes and refused the offer.
One can understand their revulsion given that for defending the party and Scarfmore, at times to ridiculous levels, each would get 20 times less than Sanctions Buster who savaged Scarfmore and Zanu PF without restraint.
It goes to show the pandemonium and turmoil that has ravaged the ruining party no matter how vigorously Zanu PF motormouth Manizhe tries to distance the party from the chaos.
It is indeed frightening that the proposed mutilation of the country’s supreme law looks to extend this circus to 2030.

The war of words between self-proclaimed Bhuru and ex-convict Weaknail is not only a source of mirth but a synopsis of how the proposed pillaging of the constitution have become a huge embarrassment.
The acrimony began when Bhuru decided to query why the burly tenderpreneur was dishing out money to some Zanu PF members of parliament at a time they are about to vote for the passing of the scandalous amendments to the constitution which are meant to ensure that Scarfmore clings tenaciously to power beyond the term limit of 2028 without the niceties of going for elections.
Weaknail basically told Bhuru to get lost which has led to a war of words that has even extended to their manhood or lack thereof kikikiki.
The dispute between the two individuals, who are no strangers to showboating, is another unedifying stain around the desecration of the constitution.
What had been envisaged as a crowning moment for Scarfmore’s extension of power without elections, has turned into a cesspool of acrimony and scandal within the rudderless ruining party Zanu PF.
You could not make this stuff up.

Reality and health minister Dougie are like oil and water, they do not mix.
There was no clearer evidence of this than when he claimed that the country’s citizens would soon enjoy free health services.
At a time that the incompetence of his ministry has turned public hospital into death traps characterised by poorly paid health workers and lack of basic medication, one wonders what this guy is smoking.
This fatuous claim comes after he had spouted nonsense about putting helipads on hospitals when women are giving birth on the floors of public hospitals and when health workers at times have to attend to patients using torchlights after the health institutions are plunged into darkness.
To talk about free health for all when nurses are reduced to entertainment for the offspring of zvigananda through twerking in the blazing sun for a a paltry US$100, is not only preposeterous, but is also an insult to long suffering Zimbabweans.
Dougie, it seems, is only copying the template of the regime which has made spinning yarns a national pastime.
The dispensation of poverty, darkness and confusion has, since its inception, promised free education.
This, of course, has turned out to be yet another fairy tale as numerous children have been thrown out of school after the so called second repubric failed to pay school fees for disadvantaged children through its Beam facility set up for this very purpose.
Instead, we have had shocking revelations of the money which was supposed to pay for these children being diverted for the 2024 Sadc summit which the country hosted.
This is the same dispensation that promised Mbare residents of modernised housing and swimming pools in 2018.
Eight years on Mbare residents, particularly those who live in Matapi Flats, continue to live in squalor waddling in sewage with not a swimming pool in sight.
Deception and incompetence has become the staple diet of this morally bankrupt and probity deficient regime.
