Songstress Feli Nandi, born Felistas Chipendo, has released a new song dubbed Moyo Hauudzirwi off the upcoming album titled Izwi (The Voice).

The latest release is a love song which talks about the strong feeling of love.

“It’s a love song that talks of the deep feeling of love and how one can’t control what the heart wants,” she said.

“When someone wants or loves someone nothing or no one can change that. Love is a strong and beautiful thing.”

The eight-track album is set to be launched on May 27.

The musician started as a backing vocalist for Mbeu’s Mhodzi Tribe for two years. She met Mbeu at a wedding in Norton in 2017 where she went up to tell him that she wanted to sing with him.

In August 2020, Feli Nandi and Mhodzi Tribe parted ways, with Nandi claiming that she was expelled from the group, a development Mbeu’s management dismissed as false.

She had managed to make six singles among them Ndega Ndada, Woman and Ndibateiwo, among others.

As a solo artist, Nandi recorded Mufudzi Wemombe with Trevor Dongo which quickly raised her to stardom.

“I am so happy with the support I have received as a solo artist,” she said.

“We have a great family and great people that support and appreciate my music. My solo journey has been blessed.”
