Kadoma-based Life Technical Training Institute has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in the latest Higher Education Examinations Council (Hexco) examinations, a milestone that underscores the institution’s commitment to quality technical and vocational education.
The institute, which offers a wide range of technical and vocational courses, said the achievement reflects sustained investment in skills-based training and academic excellence.
Hexco examinations are a critical benchmark for students pursuing vocational qualifications in Zimbabwe.
Speaking in an interview, the founder and director of Life Technical Training Institute, Andrew Mugabe, said the institution was delighted by the clean sweep, noting that the results had strengthened confidence among parents and guardians.
“We are thrilled with the 100% pass rate. It is testimony to the hard work, discipline and dedication of both our students and staff,” said Mugabe.
“This achievement will undoubtedly boost the confidence of parents who entrust us with their children’s education, and we remain committed to delivering quality training.”
According to Mugabe, 147 students sat for the examinations across various disciplines, including electrical engineering, cosmetology, cookery, bakery studies, motor mechanics, housekeeping and garment construction.
“All 147 students passed with distinctions and credits, which is a remarkable achievement. It reflects the quality of education and practical training we provide at Life Technical Training Institute,” he said.
