Mutemachani told Standard Style that they have embraced technology in order to reach out to a wider audience.

Gospel music outfit Izodzo Choral Group, under Pastor Clyde Mutemachani, has released their fourth album titled Ndichauya at a virtually launch held last Friday.

It carries 10 hymnal tracks.

Mutemachani told Standard Style that they have embraced technology in order to reach out to a wider audience.

“As a group, we have realised the strength of cyberspace which has the propensity to reach widest audiences, therefore enabling our tireless efforts to receive or analyse feedback,” he said.

The tracks on the album include Handinonoke, Nzvimbo Yakanaka, Ndomutenda, Wauya Mucheki, Vaigara Vachinamata, Hakuzi Kurema, which features Kudzi Nyakudya and Muna Vanhu Venyu.

Other tracks include Mbeuyezvibereko, Mudi WeMweya and Vana Vangu.

Born on April 25, 1984 in Magunje (Karambazungu) in Mashonaland Central province, Mutemachani always dreamt of becoming a gospel musician.

He was inspired by gospel outfit Vabati VaJehova, which influenced his love for hymnal songs and establishment of Izodzo Choral Group in 2019.

Mutemachani, a congregant at Saint John Apostolic Church of the Whole World under Bishop Sydney Mabhiza, released their first track titled Areka (Ark) as Izodzo Choral Group in 2019.

The seven track album carried a hit song titled Ngamera.

In 2021 the group recorded its six-track second album titled Moto Unopisa followed by the third album titled Kudenga Kune Nyaya the following year.

Izodzo Choral Group has featured a number of artistes on their projects having featured Pastor Norest Matende and Pastor Joseph Tivafire on the song, Ndinoshamiswa Kwazvo in 2020.

Their latest project features Nyakudya on the song Hakuzi Kurema and the group has also featured Pastor Chibgape and Bishop Tavengwa on previous projects.
