My Dear People
The ruining party is so afraid of the people it is now even banning online debates about the scandalous Constitutional Amendment Number 3 Bill.
On the poor advice of the unelected ZZ, the Lacoste gang is trying to impose Ngwena on long suffering Zimbabweans by changing the constitution and adding two years to his term.
Ngwena, who on more than five occasions last year, said he does not want to stay in office beyond 2028 is beginning to take ownership of the misguided third term bid after his cabinet approved the bill, which has since been gazetted.
The Lacoste cabal is doing everything possible to avoid a referendum and is counting on the support of sell-out opposition MPs who have decided to put their stomachs first.
However, despite taking that undemocratic route the Lacoste faction is still not confident that its devious term extension agenda will succeed, hence the strategy to silence critics.
Since the bill was gazetted by Jacob Mudenda police have blocked two public meetings that were organised to discuss the proposed amendments.
Even online discussions are being blocked. Some supporters of Lovemore Madhuku’s NCA party in Harare were last week were bludgeoned by the usual suspects for daring to campaign against the proposed constitution.

Hwange Central MP Daniel Molokele was yesterday arrested for holding a Constituency Development fund project implementation meeting. The regime’s paranoia is telling and it is only the beginning.
There is no better evidence to show that Ngwena and his Lacoste faction are afraid of the people.
It is also clear that they know what they are doing does not enjoy the support of ordinary Zimbabweans.
Ngwena’s promises that he was going to introduce “new kind of democracy” after staging a coup against the legendary Gushungo have been exposed as hollow.
His fiddling with the constitution to entrench his rule has once again demonstrated that he was the brains behind all the bad things under the first repubric.
Those who went to the streets to support the coup claiming that they were helping the military to remove a dictator should now apologise to Gushungo.

I want to applaud our church leaders for standing up against the ruining party’s agenda to mutilate the constitution.
The Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations – the most prominent Christian umbrella body in the country – has issued a hard-hitting pastoral letter warning Ngwena that the agenda will diminish his legacy.
He was urged not to be swayed by those pushing the constitutional amendments even though I believe that he is the real architect.
The church leaders said he must live by his word that he would lead as a constitutionalist and that he should ensure that elections are conducted in 2028 as per the constitution.
More importantly, the church leaders urged him to ensure that Zimbabwe witnesses its first truly smooth leadership transition after the embarrassment of 2017.
They said ZZ’s proposed bill would extend presidential and parliamentary terms without a fresh mandate from the people, bypass entrenched constitutional safeguards, weaken electoral independence, increase executive control over the judiciary and prosecution.
The church leaders appealed to the compromised legislators to choose principle over expedience and decline to endorse the amendments.
I know expecting people like Sengezo Tshabungu to be principled is asking for too much, but we will still appeal to CCC legislators to put the country first and to stand with the people.

Last week we woke up to the sad news that OK Zimbabwe Limited one of the country’s largest retail chains, had been placed under voluntary corporate rescue.
The decision was taken after the company’s board concluded that OK Zimbabwe can no longer meet its financial obligations as they fall due.
Although the move was not completely unexpected as the retail chain started closing most of its stores last year, it came as a reminder that the purported success of the so-called second repubric’s economic policies is a mirage.
A good number of formal businesses are struggling for survival and people are losing their jobs every day.
Whatever the economic gains are, they are not translating to the man on the street. Instead what we are seeing is a clique of people who are getting richer and richer.
These are the same people who are pushing Ngwena to hang on to power beyond the constitutionally guaranteed two terms, claiming that he will be protecting the economic gains.
The mercenaries are prepared to tear the fabric of this country for a few pieces of silver. We are at a time where true patriots must stand up to defend the sacred constitution.

After his allegedly sponsored campaign to tarnish the image of the Generari was ignored, Sabhuku is now going after Mimi.
In a bizzare post on X, the legendary flip flopper claimed that some military men recently held a meeting to discuss him.
Sabhuku will go to any lengths to put food on the table for his two football teams at home! Kikikikikiki
