Wanamari Financial Services has strengthened its commitment to community development after signing an official sponsorship agreement with Real Saints Football Academy, a partnership aimed at nurturing young football talent and supporting the club's long-term growth.
The sponsorship, announced on Thursday, brings together one of Zimbabwe's growing financial services companies and a youth football academy committed to developing the next generation of players.
Speaking after the signing ceremony, Wanamari Financial Services founder and chief executive officer Hillary Mushamuviri said the partnership reflects the company's broader mission of helping individuals and organisations achieve their goals.
"Our purpose has always been clear — to help individuals and organisations achieve their goals. Whether through financial empowerment, strategic partnerships or investing in communities, we exist to turn aspirations into achievements," Mushamuviri said.
He described the agreement as more than a financial sponsorship.
"This partnership is a commitment to support a shared vision, nurture talent and provide the backing needed for the club to reach greater heights both on and off the field."
Real Saints Football Academy coach Sean Tarasikirwa welcomed the sponsorship, saying it would provide much-needed support for the academy's programmes and create more opportunities for young footballers to develop their skills.
The partnership comes at a time when many grassroots football clubs are seeking sustainable corporate support to improve training facilities, equipment and player development programmes.
