Dynamos madness gone too far

We used to think that a coach can play a player any position he deems necessary but we were wrong because at Dynamos that translates to match fixing.

For a long time, Dynamos has been known for its funny internal episodes, but this time around, the madness has gone far beyond estimations.

For such a big institution to accuse and suspend its coach Genesis Mangombe of match fixing simply because he changed his players positions of play would make even a two-month-old baby laugh of the joke.

We used to think that a coach can play a player any position he deems necessary but we were wrong because at Dynamos that translates to match fixing.

What is interesting is that the match manipulation accusations against Mangombe have also brought Caps United, Highlanders, Hunters, and Scottland, into the picture of match fixing.

Surely, there are some among us who believe Dembare did not wrong anybody, but the fact that they clearly noted those four matches means they are also accusing the four teams of connivance.

To those friends of ours, the fact that the four clubs and the Premier Soccer League also questioned the contents of the Dynamos suspension letter to Mangombe means they were also hit by the allegations.

Even Dynamos chairman Vincent Chawonza himself realised the damage they had done and attempted to repair the cracks.

"References to specific fixtures and opposing clubs were included solely because those matches form part of the allegations under investigation and should not be interpreted as implicating any opposing team or its officials" wrote Chawonza.

Now that this issue is in the public domain, the PSL and Zifa should not let it suffer a natural death because it would be a sign of weakness on their part since this matter has attracted international attention and needs to be cleared.

We have included Zifa because internationally, the story out there is that there is match fixing in Zimbabwe and it involves the country's biggest football team.

Truly, match fixing is a serious issue and Dynamos should be forced to reveal the outcome of their investigations as the ordinary man in the street now believes Dembare's 2-1 loss to Caps United was fixed.

Dembare need to prove that Mangombe really fixed matches and that the Green Machine, Bosso, the Hunters and Mabviravira, were some of the beneficiaries of the scheme.

Should they find nothing in their investigations, Dembare should be honest enough to come out in the open and say it because the nation and the international community are waiting.

Whatever, the case is, Dynamos fans and football followers at large want to know the truth : Did Dynamos really lose 5-0 to Scottland or the match was fixed?

We hope after 14 days, Dynamos won't give any excuses but to tell Kaka and the nation what they found out in their investigation.
