Award-winning Zimbabwean hip-hop artiste Sane Wav has joined forces with Bantu Entertainment Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to spearhead an anti-bullying campaign targeting schoolchildren across Kwekwe district.
The initiative, which ran from July 21 to 25, was held under the Schools in Music and Arts 2026 Talent Development Programme, combining entertainment with advocacy to encourage learners to reject bullying and embrace positive relationships.
In a statement, Bantu Entertainment Zimbabwe said the programme seeks to identify and nurture emerging talent in music, poetry, dance and modelling while advancing the campaign theme, Say No to Bullying.
"The campaign aims to create safe learning environments by using music and the arts to educate learners about the harmful effects of bullying while encouraging positive peer relationships," the organisers said.
Sane Wav headlined the week-long tour, supported by a lineup of young performers including Kadiki, King Ashwet, DJ Eddie Bee, DJ Skiiz, DJ AB, DJ Vince, LM Skeptic and Man Collapsy.
Schools from Mbizo, Redcliff, Amaveni, Silobela and Zhombe participated in the programme, which featured performances, talent showcases and educational sessions centred on promoting respect, inclusion and non-violence.
Organisers said the initiative goes beyond entertainment by providing young people with opportunities to discover and develop their creative abilities while reinforcing values of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
The event attracted learners, teachers, parents and community members, with organisers urging the public to support the participating students and help amplify the anti-bullying message.
