DYNAMOS have received a major boost ahead of their trip to Simba Bhora tomorrow with the expected return to the team’s fold of captain Frank Makarati, who has recovered from an injury.

The defender has not featured for the club in the last five matches as he battled the injury.

He, however, has returned to full training in the last two weeks, raising hopes that he could be part of the squad travelling to Wadzani Stadium today for the must-win clash against a very good Simba Bhora side.

Dynamos are desperate to win the match after a poor start to the season.

The Harare giants have collected just six points from a possible 15, and are slowly losing ground on the title race where they currently trail log leaders Highlanders by seven points.

Pressure has started to mount on coach Genesis Mangombe, who knows that another bad result today, and alarm bells will ring even louder.

Midfielder Donald Mudadi remains sidelined for Dynamos due to a hamstring injury.

Mangombe’s men are facing a Simba Bhora side looking to continue with their bright start to the season.

The ambitious Shamva-based side have stated their desire to win the league in their second season in the premier league, and they have backed that with some solid displays this far.

They have won three of their opening five matches, drawing another and losing once, a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Highlanders.

The Tonderai Ndiraya-coached side are going into the match with their tails up following their 2-1 win over Yadah last week, a result that saw them moving third on the log standings with 10 points, just three behind Highlanders.

Star midfielder Junior Makunike and goalkeeper Taimon Mvula will be looking to impress against their former paymasters after their unpleasant departure from Dynamos at the end of last season.

They join a number of former Dynamos players, who have risen to become key members of the Simba Bhora squad including Patson Jaure, Blessing Moyo, Gift Saunyama and Tichaona Chipunza.

Ndiraya and club chairman Isiah Mupfurutsa add to a long list of the personnel in the Simba Bhora team that have strong Dynamos roots.

The two teams' league clashes last season both ended in goalless draws.
