NPA releases Mugabe Jnr in malicious damage to property case

THE late former President Robert Gabriel Mugabe's son, Robert Jnr, who was arrested for malicious damage to property, has been released by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) before appearing in court.

Mugabe junior, who was represented by Ashiel Mugiya and Tungamirai Muganhiri, was released after consultation with the prosecuting authority.

According to the lawyers, the case was not supposed to be reported, but it was just a misunderstanding with his colleagues and that the misunderstanding was not criminal.

Mugabe did not appear in court and the matter was decided at the vetting by the prosecution.
